BFN after FET at 5dp5dt - any success stories?

Hi all,

I had a FET last Sunday so am 5dp transfer today. POAS yesterday and this morning with FMU (I know, I know... ) but both stark white.

Blastocyst wasn't hatching so I'm just praying it's taking a little bit longer to implant, and I know it's early. But this was a PGS tested normal embryo and our 4th transfer and I just can't face it not working (previous transfers have been fresh BFN, FET was chemical, then double FET ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks and D&C confirmed that embryo was abnormal).

Anyone get a BFP later on after a FET that can give me hope?!

Was it a first response test or one of those cheapy Amazon ones?

Cheapie amazon (although I'm in South Africa, so it's the equivalent and you can't get First Response tests here).

I just did a clearblue dye and thought there might be a squinter but too hard to tell.

Why do I do this to myself?!

I got a very faint positive on the evening of 8dp5dt. Bfn earlier that same day and I was gutted. I know it's difficult with so many 5dp5dt success stories on the internet but you are testing too early! Good luck!

Don’t lose hope yet. I got a pretty clear positive on a first response at 6dp5dt, yet on the cheap Amazon tests I didn’t get even a faint positive until 12dp5dt. Good Luck.

I didn't get a BFP on those cheap tests until 11/12 DPO and that was with twins so I'd say you are still in with a chance

11/12 DPO was 6/7 days post 5 day transfer with hatching blastocysts by the way

So we have a squinter this morning! Even OH could see it after I thought I was going mad. Hopefully a stronger line tomorrow and then beta on Monday. Just wanted to update the thread. Happy weekend all. x

Congratulations, that’s brilliant.

I just wanted to post this line progression image, for anyone who might be searching for a similar topic (as I was) and was feeling anxious. The first 3 tests were all very light and it wasn't until 8dp5dt that they started to really progress.

I was so, so worried especially after stupidly comparing myself to others online, but once I decided to only test every other day, the progression definitely came in. I am also convinced that the embryo was a bit of a late implanter.

So for anyone reading this, hang in there! I know how excruciating it can be.
