Hi all,
Just a quick question wandering if any one can help.
Am due to have my frozen egg transfer today, this will be my 3rd attempt, the previous 2 one was fresh the other frozen both failed rounds.
This frozen round has felt different than the last so has of course started to worry me.
On day 12 i had a scan and my lining as usual was fine 9mm. But the nurse asked if I had been having any discharge, I said yes cause this time I had been, she told me not to worry she only asked as she could see the mucus on the scan, and it doesnt mean I am ovulating. But since then I have constantly had discharge more like sorry for tmi but like I have wet myself, is this normal does any one know.
Plus i started my progesterone of lubion and cyclogest on sunday and 2 days ago my boobs have begun to hurt so much again on my last frozen transfer this didn't happen, it did on the fresh but I put that down to the trigger shot.
I am also having my transfer on day 27 of my cycle is this late or are all these worries I am having just me overreacting to it all.
Thanks in advance for the any advice, sorry for long post.
X

I don’t know about the discharge, does it mean anything? She could have just asked because she noticed it when scanning. I noticed more discharge than usual on estradiol. Are you putting cyclogest in vaginally, that may well contribute to discharge too.

Why so long between the normal day 12 scan and the transfer? I thought my clinic was late planning me at day 22 (I’m on a medicated FET without down regulation), when I enquired why they said it was because of scheduling on their end, which really annoyed me. The clinic’s opinion is that while on estradiol the ovaries are shut down so they can time things when they want. My understanding is that it’s the progesterone timing that’s the most important, once the level in the body gets to a certain threshold it triggers endometrial receptivity that allows implantation. I’m going to be on progesterone for 5 days with the transfer the next day, sounds like your progesterone timing is the same. Out of interest what clinic are you at?

I asked the doctor today about the discharge he said it could b a good sign often it's related to good estrogen levels, and not to worry. I take 1 lubion injection am and 1 cyclogest pm,but havent been doing them vaginally but that's more out of choice.
I really dont no why it's so long from the scan they didn't really say, on my 2nd attempt they had a covid outbreak so it was delayed too, when I asked weather this would affect anything at that time they said it didn't matter how long i was on the estrogen tablets it was when they started me on the progesterone which was important as that's the most important thing to get right, with timing and everything. I started that on sunday and transferred this afternoon.
I had my transfer but the embryo lost a few cells at thawing, so have a lower chance, emboyologist said it wasnt not transferable and it might regrow. So I transferred it anyway as it's my last one on this cycle for myself.
I am with care chester

I thought you might be with Care! I am too and have been given the exact same spiel! To be honest I think they take on too many patients to schedule everyone according to their needs. I was pushed away from a natural FET (it’s now clear why, they wouldn’t be able to slot me around the other patients) and I have been having the worst medicated cycle with all the side effects. Their late scheduling also caused me a nightmare at work, I’d booked my leave around the transfer window and then they changed it with a few days of notice for their convenience, so I had to mess my company around. I’m on the same progesterone regime as you, I reacted to utrogestan vagina pessaries so I’m putting the cyclogest anally. My transfer is on Wednesday, good luck to you with yours🤞
