Hi all,

I’ve just purchased the lamberts myo-inositol powder as I have been ttc a while now and my cycles are messed up due to pcos.

Wondered if anyone could share their experience of using this, and how much they take/took?

Thank you x

I've used the same brand in the past (via their sister company Natures Best)- you take 4g a day (which is 8 of the 0.5 little scoop they provide you with) mixed in water/squash/juice.

I wasn't sure that it made much difference (I'm also on Metformin and a healthier diet so it was hard to tell what helped and what didn't) but I tried stopping the myo-inositol for a few months and my cycles suddenly became longer, then went back on it and they went back to a more regular 26 or 27 days.

I've had real success with Myo-inositol. I take 4g a day, two in the morning and two at night. My cycles were ovulatory but really long and irregular, sometimes ovulating around the 46 day mark. I've been on it for just over two months and this cycle I ovulated on day 15, so I'd say it's well worth a go! I take the tablets from MyOva, I just find them more convenient than packets.

@Patienceisnotmyvirtue wow that’s amazing to hear! I started on Sunday so am keeping everything crossed in a couple of months I’ll be in the same position 🤞 I didn’t know there were tablets either, I’ll certainly look into those once this tub is used up thank you
