Hi, just wondering if anyone has experienced bleeding/clotting on day 9 after transfer? It doesn't seem like my period and I didn't think it would be so soon if it is?

@Larnabanana I started with pink discharge on 8dp5dt, it got darker and then 3 days later it was a full blown period. I am convinced my progesterone dose wasn’t high enough and if I was in this situation again I would have doubled up my progesterone dose. I would advise you to ask your clinic what they think, if it was a fresh transfer they may be happy with the natural progesterone you produce, but in a medicated frozen cycle you’re reliant on the progesterone they prescribe.

I’m sorry Flowers it’s rubbish isn’t it, that was me back in November, I’m having a FET at the moment, all the best for you moving forward.

Its is. :( we could only afford 1 round and had 1 frozen embryo. So we are saving now for 1 more try. All the best to you xx

Let yourself grieve, it’s ok to feel sad, it hit me a few days after, but it will pass. I tried to just focus on the future, you still have the frostie which is great! FET tends to be cheaper than a fresh cycle, I hope you can save up soon, my clinic like the withdrawal bleed and then a natural cycle (which tend to be longer after a fresh cycle), so it would probably be a couple of months before you could try again.

I know how you feel. I am going through the same. Maybe it helps to know that you are not alone. This is my 3rd transfer and it is again similar to the previous transfers that I started spotting on day 11 which is around the start of period although Progesterone slows it down a little. This round is a top grade day 5 blasto different from previous but it did not help. It does feel each round is like a roll of dice.

After a few days the feeling will pass and try to focus on some other things. It is good to take a short break to take care of yourself and you will have the energy to start the next round.

Im so sorry to hear that its awful. I cant help but feel like iv been scammed if that makes sense. You hear so many success story's so its like why did it not work with me! The frozen embryo we have had frozen is a 4BB which I'm all new to IvF so I'm not sure what that means. Going to let my body heal then maybe consider our last chance with the frozen embryo in the middle of the year. I wish you both the best of luck in the future xx
