Can anyone give any advice ? First one hopefully next week, and starting to wonder just how uncomfortable it is? Is it like a smear? Worrying I'll wee myself too! My bladder is collapsed as it is and so weak

Hey @elsaesmeralda I found it to be like a smear uncomfortable when they put the speculum in but you don’t feel nothing after that. My bladder wasn’t completely full so it wasn’t that uncomfortable they like it full so they can see your uterus properly so I would make sure it’s not completely empty x

I'm planning on drinking a bottle of water on the way to the clinic and hoping there isn't a delay 😂
Do you have to lye there for abit after or is it up and out?

@elsaesmeralda I was up and out lol got dressed and spoke to the doctor after about medication and testing day but that was it.

Oh okay, thanks for the info. Got a scan tomorrow so hopefully my lining is building up and can go ahead next week I think!

can someone please tell me about this result is okay or not! as I took the test in the morning after 20 mins it shows this line.

This is my 9th day after embryo transfer

I found it a bit more uncomfortable than a smear, but most women don’t seem to. When they put the speculum in, they clean/wash the area so it gets rid of any mucus/pessary gunk, which I found uncomfortable. I may have just been tense/nervous though as it was my first time. After that it was fine and all over quickly. I emptied my bladder about an hour before, then drank 560ml of water, which was enough for the clinic. Good luck with yours.

That looks good to me!! On my first cycle I tested early and there was nothing so I started crying and launched it in the bin. I looked at it again a short while later and I had a faint line... It got stronger and stronger... That line is now a super clever, crazy 4 year old boy!

I red on internet that clear blue said any result after 10 mins have to be discarded because it just a evaporated lines.
