Hi anyone want to chat about secondary infertility ? Feeling so low :(
Been trying no 2 for nearly 3 years. 2 failed frozen cycle and 1 fresh failed last month. 1 frozen left. Don't know if I should go for it after so many failed cycles.

Thinking to try naturally. Low sperm count, motility any advise please

Hi all, just to spread some happy news. We've been TTC for over 10 years. Finally decided to do IVF and had our first cycle at the end of January. I'm happy to report that it's worked am I'm officially 4+3 weeks pregnant. Absolutely elated. Very early days of course but delighted. We've been talking about IVF and adoption for years. So glad we've finally made a decisive move. Keep everything crossed for us. Xx

Hey, hope it's okay to join! I have a 9yo from a previous relationship who I fell pregnant with so, so easily and is desperate for a little brother or sister. Me and my OH have been trying for over 2 years now. His first SA was low morphology and low concentration but was done over a stressful period and he was spending a lot of time everyday in our Layzspa! He stopped for a few months before next SA and it had dramatically improved and now just has 2% morphology (classed as mild teratozoospermia) however his urologist and my fertility consultant are just pointing the finger at me now. I've had a Hycosy and all fine. All my bloods were normal except not ovulating/ovulating as well as I could be so have recently done three rounds of high dose Letrozole which didn't work and last month did my first Clomid cycle which caused me a lot of problems and 5 haemorraghic cysts but the good thing is these cysts are secondary to ovulation so I released 5 eggs but frustratingly didn't get pregnant ☹️ We have made the decision to go down the IVF route now and our appointments are all booked for March however I just can't help but think maybe his sperm quality has gone downhill again? I've started him on Wellman conception tablets this month. I've said to him I want us to try everything we can these last couple of natural cycles before IVF starts. I've started this week acupuncture and have it booked for next week before I'm due to ovulate. Like you ladies I feel like a crazy, jealous person half the time when so many people like you say lapping you and getting pregnant around you. My emotions feel more and more like a rollercoaster as time goes on and this last cycle with the pain and my cysts has felt like the worst one so far...my heads just been a mess! The OH can't understand why I feel like that when I have a child but like I say my little boy is desperate for a sibling and of course my OH plus I am broody myself. Plus too, I think it's so hard when your body has done it before, why can't it do it again? Sorry for the essay! Be good to hear how you ladies all get on. I've found some lovely people on other threads on here but a lot are TTC #1

@crazydoglady123 you're not alone in fact we sound very similar as my husband has 2% too but im not ovulating right either. Ive asked for clomid as I want twins so at 38 I dont have to go through ever again! Would you advise it? I also think my age may be s factor but who knows...we would be doing ivf in April but like you rather try natural because if its as stressful as they say im not sure our marriage would get through it! I know, some ppl in the forums seem shocked at you dare wanting a 2nd but I think its worse as youre trying to give your child a sibling also!!

@Melds22 I'm 32 and OH 30. I must admit I was panicking about quintuplets when they told me I'd released 5 eggs as the fertility nurse seemed quite concerned. I think that's what made that cycle the hardest as I know we had 5 x the chance and still it didn't work. Clomid obviously clearly worked for me, however I felt very left to it with my fertility consultant. When I called up in pain they said there was nothing they could do and that they couldn't scan me etc hence paying for a private one. I think reading up (again, still haven't seen my consultant yet as my appointment with him is booked for weds after next) it sounds like mild OHSS I had but I hear so many good things with Clomid. I just find it weird that they're happy with the OH mortality being 2%. April is when I'm hoping our first IVF cycle will be however I'm praying everything we're doing works these next two months 🤞 Do you use preseed? I've heard good things about that too so we're trying that this cycle as well

Yeah Ive heard of that but like I say i never ovulated last cycle so have bought Fertility Smart tabs to hipefully try and regulate it. Yeah they were pretty dismissive with my hubbys results too but its because hia sperm is fine and his motility doubled to 50% in 3 months since quitting alcohol and vaping. They say as long as the egg is prime its not a big thing. They also said im blessed with a huge egg reserve so god knows whats up with is..Im cutting out chocolate and my 3 weekly runs this month along with alot of praying! Think it will be a long way until i get clomid

@Melds22 I've just started myself on myo-inositol, vitamin b and zinc too. You should look into acupuncture. Like I say, it worked for when I didn't get my periods back after stopping the depo. My lady who does it said because it's so scientifically proven to help that's why IVF clinics recommend it to help boost their success rates. I don't actually have copies of my OH SA reports, just the letter from the urologist but he had at the clinic we're going with for IVF so I'll be interested to see what they say about it. In the letter his first SA had low concentration, low normal forms at 3% and normal motility. Second SA was normal concentration but low normal forms at 2%.
Have you been transferred to a fertility consultant or just seeing your GP at the minute?

@Crazydoglady123 sorry not been on for a while! We did tests with a fertility clinic. I did acupuncture in August and didnt like it..the lady was just trying to milk me for money and was so uncaring.
Anyway I got a cheapie BFP today!! Really nervous as not got sore boobs just a few twinges on my left hand side so really hope its not another loss. Could be because i breastfed my daughter for a year but its going to be a rocky 3 months

@crazydoglady123 thank you. That was me this month after 13 flashing smileys. Got blood tests on the 12th to check if im ovulating they said I had then this! Bizarre! Im also worried coz i had xrays at the dentist last monday not knowing...eeek

@Melds22 oh wow! I have a scan on Wednesday to check my cysts which will be CD16 so that'll show whether I have/haven't ovulated. DTD is getting uncomfortable again so a bit worried about more cysts again 🙄 I really wouldn't worry too much about the x rays. I knew a girl before who went her whole pregnancy not knowing she was pregnant and was out drinking and partying her whole way through and the baby was fine.
