Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has been successful with IVF with a fibroid that protruded into the uterine cavity? We are due to start our first IVF round next month and have been told that I have a small (2cm) intramural fibroid which slightly pokes into the back of my uterus. I have been told that it doesn't need to be operated on as it is small but I got the impression that there would be a problem if it got a lot bigger. I have been pregnant in the past (this ended in miscarriage) so I guess this means that an embryo can implant and we have male factor issues to make things more complicated but after googling madly (never a good idea), I am worried that this fibroid will limit our chances of success. It wasn't my consultant who did the scan so I wasn't able to speak to her about my concerns.
Also, for anyone with fibroids, did the stims make the fibroids grow? My understanding is that they feed off estrogen so I'm also worried that stims will make the fibroid bigger.
