Post laparoscopy + MF & TTC. Advice needed!

I had a laparoscopy a couple of weeks back and am in the healing process. Will need another few months. I had 3 fibroids removed. Only small but 1 submucosal and between them had basically managed to take up all the space in my womb. I guess that kinda means out 10 months of trying naturally wasn't really trying as I had the equivalent of a coil in me and didn't know.

My OH had a sperm test and it came back morphology of 1%, motility 20%. Count was normal. He's got a follow up on Monday from a follow up count.

I think I may have had 2 chemicals. Very slight lines on frers, then period on time or a day late. I can post a photo if it's of use, but I find it pretty impossible to tell an evap from a very early chemical. That would fit with the fibroid though.

My clinic is super keen for us to have IVF asap when I'm healed. But then, they would say that because they make money out of it. The doctor said that the fibroids might grow back. I expect they probably will, but I thought that was a 3-5 year problem. Not a 6 month trying naturally then thinking about IVF.

Has anyone had similar? Is it possible to get pregnant naturally if the man has poor sperm form? I'm 35 if that helps. My AMH is 4.69 (on the scale where that's high). We were planning on trying naturally for 5/6 months again before thinking of IVF.

We have male factor too. Ours is low count though. Would you consider putting DH on wellman for morphology issues and give it a few months? Sounds like you have never really had a chance with natural ttc until now. I wouldn’t leave it longer than 6 months though as you are already 35 and egg quality decreases with age.

@Bonster37 has your DH tried Wellman? Does it work?
