Changing Clinics - is it like starting from scratch?

We are about to embark on cycle 3 but I’m not too happy with our existing clinic, for a variety of reasons. The main reason we are inclined to stick with them is we don’t want the expense (and delay) of repeating a load of tests with a new clinic.

Does anyone have experience of changing clinics? How much repetition is there, or do they / will they rely on your notes from another clinic (which I believe they are legally obliged to share?)

@Youngatheart00 we changed clinic from first to second cycle. There was some repetition - eg had to have initial consultation again, and they wanted me to have a different type of scan prior to starting treatment. But some stuff eg the blood screening tests they accepted from my previous clinic as they were still in date. Overall, changing clinics added a bit to the cost and probably set us back a month or two. That said, I am 100% sure it was the right decision for us. The standard (medical and administrative) at the new clinic has been a world of difference, and it is also more practical in covid times (the first clinic meant getting train; this one we can drive to). I have no regrets about changing - it was worth the cost and slight delay.
