IVF at Create Fertility - process and timeline?

Hello all, I used to post on the conception thread but I think it's time I now moved to the infertility section instead.

I've been trying for over a year now and have decided to go down the IVF route. I have low AMH and low antral follicle count (3) and I'm 32 years old. After so many days of feeling down and crying, I now feel like I need to get into gear and try to be more positive about it!

Is anyone on here currently with Create Fertility for their IVF or have been in the past? Can someone give me an idea of costs, general timeline and the process?

Thats really good news with starting soon, are you doing the multi cycle package? Do you have MFI? can’t remember if you’ve said before.. what is the difference began ICSI and PICSI?

I’m still not ovulating and I’m approaching the middle of my cycle, the rational side of me understands that my body needs time to settle after the last round but I’m secretly freaking out and now thinking the worst. The nurses have explained that it’s very common and not too worry but I don’t know if I can ever trust that saying again if that makes sense?

My week has been really difficult my mum got the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and dementia and they’ll be starting her on medication soon. It’s just been a heavy week and I’m so ready to see the back of this year already.

Hopefully I can start soon but I think I’ll definitely miss December cut off as my next period is due 8th December which would take me right up to a few days before Xmas. So likely we’ll start in January which I’m okay with.

@VenusStarr @Hopesandsunshine Hi both, AF arrived yesterday so started stimulation today 150 Gonal-F after being scanned to make sure I can proceed, started Prednisolone steroid too in readiness for a transfer, will see how it all goes.

@VenusStarr all sounds very positive, definitely enjoy yourself and have a faw drinks!

@Hopesandsunshine sometimes ovulation can be late in these situations? I think most Create clinics state they will only start stimulation before Christmas if it was before 1st December but in all honesty that is probably a good thing, that way you can just get on and try and enjoy any Christmas plans if it was to be in the new year! Time will fly by, only 4 weeks until Christmas anyway!

@Hopesandsunshine ❤️❤️ I'm really sorry to hear about your mum. That's difficult news. I hope the medication helps with symptoms for her. Its a lot to process though.

I'm sorry your cycle is off, when do you usually ovulate?

You definitely don't need to think positively, this stuff is hard! We might end up stimming around the same time.

I think PICSI is using hyaluronic acid to select sperm then inject. But I think because his dna fragmentation is ok (not amazing but not terrible!) I think we'll just try icsi for the first round. His motility is poor now, so MFI as well as immune issues for me 🫠🙃 xx

Great news! @Sunflower360 pleased you're getting going and the scan was OK. What dose of pred are you on. When's your next scan? Hoping this round brings good news 🙏 xx

Thanks @VenusStarr next scan is Monday...will see if it goes ok. Sorry if I've already asked you, were you on Prednisolone at any point? I'm on it in readiness for a transfer due to anti thyroid antibodies

Yes @Sunflower360 I have been on steroids before, but take them from 5 days before transfer, so when I start progesterone.
Fingers crossed for Monday. Is this a mild stimulation cycle, what's you stim dose this time in comparison to natural modified?

@VenusStarr ah ok, I've been told to start the Prednisolone earlier from stimulation. Yes, I'm taking a more mild IVF approach in that I've started stimulation on day 2 rather than day 5, still expect low egg numbers due to my AMH but worth a go to see how it goes
