Cyclogest - some advice needed

Hi all, I'm going to be doing IUI next month and have been prescribed cyclogest pessaries to try to extend my very short luteal phase. It dawned on me that I could try taking it this month for my home insems and they've agreed to send me a prescription for 400 once a day - BUT I don't know exactly when I ovulate because my hormones are all over the place (AMH v low) (their nurses said throw away the wee sticks and just do the inseminations every 2 days). Has anyone received any very specific advice about taking this for extending luteal phases and does it matter if you miss the first day for example? I won't get the chance to speak to one of their docs so wondered if anyone else could advise from experience. Thanks!

Hi OP I have a 9/10 day LP and after our FET was cancelled during the first lock down my clinic gave me utrogestan pessaries to use for a few natural cycles while we were waiting for them to reopen. I start it on the evening of the second day after ovulation (1 pessary) and then use 3 per day, so 600mg per day until 14 dpo. Take a test at 14dpo then stop if BFN. I will normally bleed then within 48 hours.
