Hello, I’m brand new to this site and was looking for people to chat with about IVF.

We had a BFN in December 2020 after our first FET. I am using my natural cycle for transfer so I will be testing my Ovulation again from tomorrow.

I am with the Hewitt Centre Liverpool and they have warned me that if they are booked up my treatment will be delayed until Feb as they have reduced the number of treatments given in one day which is understandable.

Feeling scared, nervous and excited all rolled into one.

Anyone who can share their stories, tips, tricks and positivity would be really appreciated x

Hi! Happy to chat!

I'm new to Ivf and currently waiting for my period to start to begin the meds for our FET.
Had my egg collection start of December and got 9 embryos in the freezer.

I'm Sorry your first fet failed. Did they have any info as to why they think it might not have worked for you?

Hopefully your treatment won't be delayed too much? There is enough waiting in ivf as it is !

Hi @Ren2021 I’m also in the same position as you and @elsaesmeralda having had an unsuccessful transfer in December, that was my fresh cycle. I’m now day 1 of FET. I’m having a medicated FET without down regulation. I was originally keen for natural but my specialist said she wasn’t sure if access fertility covered it, it’s a bit annoying that your cycle could get cancelled, but fingers crossed it goes ahead!

Hi! I'm also doing a natural FET, first scan is on Friday. I had my daughter in 2018 (also through a natural FET), and we're now trying for a sibling. Good luck

Hi all,

Could anyone possibly share Access Fertility's T&C's, please?

The reason I am asking is that they could not provide us the T&C before we would have done the initial consultation and the initial screening at the clinic, and that's effectively already paying-out substantial sums of money, without even being able to know whether Access Fertility's T&C would suit us.

I have got Assured Fertility's T&C and they actually mention that if you have two miscarriages, then they kick-you out of the plan and don't refund the retail cost of any procedures already performed. Given my wife has a history of miscarriage, that's a no go for us. I wanted to check for the same clause in Access Fertility's T&C but they won't send us one without us having started the process already, and paid out some money (as mentioned above).

Many thanks,
