Any help/advice greatly appreciated. Low progesterone, possibly not ovulating?

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help or push me in the right direction.
36 TTC #1. My OH and I have recently been having fertility tests. He is absolutely fine. I on the other hand have so far been told that I have low progesterone (15), a thin lining, on the low side AMH (6), a short luteal phase, and after a scan yesterday on CD15, have now been told that it looks like I don't ovulate (I thought I ovulated on CD13 this month). I always get flashing then a peak OPK reading on the dual hormone CB and peak on the standard CB. I also temp and they seem to do what they should, although I am a restless sleeper so perhaps not always accurate. Some months I also get crippling ovulation pain, so was pretty sure I ovulated at least some of the time. I have incredibly short cycles of 21/22 days and light periods lasting 4ish days. I came off cerazette 18 months ago. Oh and rarely see any EWCM (I just get watery CM usually) so we have been using preseed.
The clinic want me to repeat the progesterone test again this month 7dpo. But is there any other tests I should be asking for? We are paying a private clinic because it's just impossible going through the NHS at mo. Plus I have existing health anxiety which has been thrown up again with all this, so wanted the quickest route, even if it is costing a fortune.
Does this all point to needing ivf? Or are there other treatments that anyone has been offered in a similar position?
Finding all this such a struggle and feeling very hopeless and such a failure at the moment.
Thank you so much for reading x

Wow that sounds so similar to the way I think I ovulate! (Or perhaps don't then?!!) Stopped pill a year ago. Get peaks on OPKs, usually quite regularly around day 13ish. Short luteal phase (my last 2 cycles were only a little longer than 3 weeks). Very strong 'ovulation pain' for one or two days. I do get EWCM though and my periods last almost a week atm! (Ugh!)

My bloods so far have all come back fine (day 3, and a random one) but haven't had a day 21 yet which is what I reckon they might recommend next. Perhaps look into that? I also take vitamin b complex first part of my cycle and vitamin b6 and some b12 second part of the cycle which, stupid as it sounds, seems to actually help a little with the luteal phase issue. (Forgot them the last 2 cycles, taking them again now in the hope this one will be longer!)

Had a scan for fibroids and cysts which came back fine fortunately. It is what my GP recommended after they could not find imbalances in the blood tests. I should say though I post on this board because of male factor issues; all specialists I have seen so far insist that I am actually fine (which is comforting if not a little confusing).

Posting here mainly to follow and see what others say / what happens. Good luck!!

Not ovulating is generally approached by first trying ovulation induction using clomid or letrozole and then maybe trying gonal f if those don't work.

Much easier to 'fix' than many issues where the only way around it is ivf.

That said, if ovulation induction doesn't work, ivf would normally be considered.

Low amh suggests you might be put on higher dose ivf drugs and may not get a large number of eggs if our try ivf.

Not a doctor, but ovulation induction seems like a better course of action for you.

Have you had an hsg or hycosy to ensure your tubes aren't blocked? Tbf these tests have their limitations and won't always reveal if a tube is damaged, just if they're open or closed or whether you may have a hydrosalpinx (not common).

@AnonymousXXIX Thanks for your reply! The day 21 test is the progesterone test I believe, so I already have that booked in for the second time. I haven't had day 3 tests though. Perhaps I need to ask for those too. From a quick google it sounds like if those day 3 levels (LH and FSH) aren't in line with each other, that could show a problem with ovulation too.
Good luck and hope you get some answers too!

@physicskate Thank you for responding! I did wonder about clomid but I had also read that it thins the lining, and with an already thin lining I wondered if this would then make this issue a bigger problem :/
I've not heard of letrozole or gonal f, I'm guessing they perhaps work in a similar way though?
I haven't had an hsg or hycosy yet. To be honest with all the other problems that we have just recently discovered I just assumed that one of those would be the reason why we are yet to get a bfp. Perhaps a good idea to rule that out too though.
And yes I did read about low amh making ivf more difficult. Mine is on the very lower scale of normal for my age apparently. So hoping if this was the route we had to go down that success is still a possibility.
