Just that really. We are having IVF and just one of our eggs (there were only 3) fertilised. Does anyone have any success stories to keep me going until Wednesday?

Yes. 2 eggs. 1 embryo. I bfp. He’s 6 next week. It only takes one!

I know a few people who only had 1 egg fertilised that resulted in a successful pregnancy. It really does only take one. Good luck, I know it's a really anxious time waiting xx

Didn’t have a choice. We spoke to the clinic after your message but they advised us to wait (historic miscarriage issues so needed a strong one)

This is my first message here, I really need some positivity, I had my egg collection yesterday, 5 eggs collected. I found out this morning only one had fertilised, feeling quite low about it, but I know that it only takes one
Anyone else had success with one precious egg?

I was also super scared as my daughter was my second and final round (no more money left)

also dreading a repeat of the 1st round as my 1st round was 5 collected and only 1 fertilised too and was pregnant but miscarriaged at 10weeks

Our 1 did get to day 5 and transfer. I got a positive test but it wasn’t to be for us I’m afraid and bled a few days later
