I’m in the middle of investigation for my periods and infertility. Had ultrasounds and a CT scan and now been referred to gyno for further investigation. However, I’ve just moved 150 miles away!! Anyone know what the process is for changing my referral? Do I sign up to new docs in my area and explain? Do I ring my old docs? Do I ring the hospital I was due to go to? Don’t want to end up back at square one.

Hi @confuzzzzzled
I think you will need to join a new local GP, and book an appointment with them to explain the situation. You'll need a new referral to a local hospital so they can carry on your investigations. They should be able to use any results you already have - it might be helpful to get a copy of these (CT report, blood tests etc) so you can show these to the relevant doctors - they should be sent electronically but you can't always rely on this. Good luck x
