I am trying to decide between these two clinics and would be interested to hear experiences?

Hi @DoctorBambino I'm afraid I don't have any advice but I'm hoping to go to Care in Woking via the NHS later this year. They seem to have fairly good success rates. The clinic was run by Nuffield Health until mid 2020, I'm not sure why it was taken over. I've heard good things about Oxford too - could you do a virtual open day with each of them?

@DoctorBambino I underwent IVF at woking ( cycles under Nuffield & partly under Care),.found no change except brand change in terms of overall management. It is a nurse led clinic so if you have special requirements or have a complex case you need to be demanding so that consultant is made available ! I choose it because it is closer to home and has good reviews. Cant compare to Oxford but heard from a friend that woking one is better

Thank you @bicyclesandbeyond yes I've had an open day at Oxford and thought they were fantastic, seems to be harder to get one with woking but their statistics are so good I'm interested to hear more!

Thanks for your thoughts @duckhouse I had been a bit worried about the take over maybe meaning things were a bit different there, good to know its been consistent.

Hopefully they'll get back to me about an initial chat..

Realise this is an old thread but did @DoctorBambino who did you go with in the end?

Thinking about Care Woking as it's close to home. I've thought about Oxford too although was leaning more towards Thames Valley. Struggling to narrow down my list.

Hi @kennetrose I went with Oxford and thought they were brilliant. First round worked and am now 23 weeks pregnant and have 5 frosties in the freezer!

I know this is an old post but i wanted to share the review i have just added to this clinic's google page. I would go with Care Woking again in a heartbeat.

This clinic is now the reason I am pregnant for a second time, we have our little boy due this December and we are over the moon.
If you are looking at this clinic please don't hesitate. As you can see below, we had two rounds at a different clinic which were not successful.
This clinic has succeeded with two out of three transfers which is an amazing success rate.
I only ever had to go through one fresh round of IVF for this, as the embryologists are so excellent at what they do.

Thank you Care for two beautiful rainbow babies.

Fantastic IVF clinic, we have our little girl thanks to this clinic.
We transferred our remaining embryos away from Care, to an IVF clinic in maidenhead, ONLY because the other clinic was closer to where we live, we naively assumed all clinics did things the same way, they don't. We have since transferred our last embryo back to Care and we are going through a cycle this month.
Their staff are wonderful and kind and can not do enough to help, within a few days of calling them I had a call with a consultant and was able to start an IVF cycle with them this month.
Please don't make the mistake I did, I can say from experience with two separate clinics, this is the clinic you want to put your trust in.
