Successful IUI after ICSI??

Hi, I have a little boy who is just about to turn 5. It took 3 rounds of ICIS to conceive him. 1st didn't work, 2nd worked but mmc, 3rd time we went abroad and had 4 embryos transferred which gave us our little boy. Our infertility is unexplained.

I've just turned 40 and suddenly feel I really want a second child. I thought I was content with just my son but now suddenly feel very sad that he's an only child. Don't get me wrong, I know how lucky we are!

As our infertility is unexplained I was thinking of trying IUI so it's less invasive. I'm not sure I can face going through a whole cycle of IVF again plus I don't want to spend thousands for it not to work which we don't really have! We're also looking in to adoption but really not sure this is the right path for us.

Any IUI success stories from anyone in a similar situation to me please?

The problem with IUI is the success rates - you need to factor in at least 10 rounds apparently to have the same success rate as 1 cycle of IVF so you might find yourself spending the same on IUI that you would have on IVF
