Clomid - Very light period/CP

Hi everyone,

Thought I would make a new post due to the issues I've been experiencing.

I started my first round of Clomid last cycle, got a faint bfp on IC and FR pregnancy tests, they however started getting lighter and today I have started to bleed with what I think is AF however it is very very light, not enough to fill a pad.

I have also done another pregnancy test today to check there is no line and there isn't, it's gone.

My question is, am I OK to start my second round of Clomid tommorrow as prescribed, even with my period being extremely light and the fact it's likely I had a chemical pregnancy a few days ago?

My period has started on day 30 as it always does!

Anyone else experienced similiar?

I would call your consultant first and see what they think

I've just been prescribed the Clomid, I'm not being monitored and don't have a consultant as such. When I called the hospital they said to expect a call back within 14 days 😞

Oh I see! Then from what you've I do think you should seek advice before starting the next round just in case it was a false negative? Have you done anymore tests?

sneakpeek1414 · 13/12/2020 17:31

Yes I think I will, however have done a few more tests and they're all stark white now! I don't really know what's gone on but don't want to waste another month 😞

How come you're not being monitored btw?

I have absolutely no idea! I presume it's due to covid? The doctor literally said here's 3 months supply someone will call you in March, if you get pregnant call us 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sounds very similar to my own experience last year.. being very desperate I went straight onto the next cycle without asking my Dr as I couldn't stand being told no and we wait even longer.. It worked, we were expecting triplets ! A complicated pregnancy.. we now have 2 beautiful twin boys. 💙💙

@Helena112 aww congratulations!! I really hope it's the same for me, AF became heavier but has trailed off again today. I have started to take the Clomid again after taking several tests to ensure there was no HCG left.

Fingers crossed 🤞🏽
