Blood test - showing low progesterone

Hi ladies, so I have been to the doctors this month
Day 1 of cycle = blood test all ok
Day 21 of cycle = blood test showing low progesterone and no sign of ovulation

Cycles are usually 28 to 30 days... doctor advised if prolonged cycle have another test on day 28.

However AF showed on day 24 which is really early for me!!! I also was sure I ovulated about 4 days early this month (not tested but just me guess)

Any advice on what should be happening next? Or anyone going through something similar?
Am speaking to doctor monday but intrigued as to what might be next!

Hey, if your AF arrived on day 24 and you did ovulate that cycle then doing a blood test on day 21 would have been too late to try catch the levels and prove ovulation.

Do you do opks also? These may help with when to get the blood test done if you are not a regular 28 day person

@willithappen well...after I got over the upset of what the receptionist said... I thought about it and thought that was probably the case. So I will interested to see what the doctor says on monday!

I am usually regular until this month so all very bizarre. I havent used opks but I have bought some today ! X
