Positive test but spotting 10dp5dt

I'm driving myself mad and would really like to hear from anyone who's been in a similar position (whatever the outcome!)

I had a fresh transfer 10 days ago and we're due to go to our clinic for bloods on Monday. This morning I forgot to take my progesterone (dont know if this is relevant). This afternoon I had some brownish spotting and did a test (or 4) and they came out with faint positives. I haven't had any more spotting.

I'm worried this is a chemical pregnancy Sad I feel beside myself with worry!

Could it be implantation bleeding?

@BananaHammock23 Sorry,.I can't offer any help but hope things are better with you by now.

10dp5dt is faaaar too late for implantation bleeding

@twinkledag 10dp5dt is faaaar too late for implantation bleeding.

Some spotting is normal in early pregnancy. Progesterone is notorious for irritating the cervix and vagina and causing spotting. There’s no way to know for sure if the bleeding is a bad sign or not without a beta test to check that your HCG levels are good.

I had spotting 2 days before my OTD on my first FET. BFP 2 days later and now have a 6 year old!

Is the progesterone crinone gel? I had spotting with that during tww and after a positive test and I was fine, had a successful pregnancy.

Just noticed the date - hope the bloods went well.

Thanks all. I actually only spotted that one time on Saturday and since then everything has been ok! I had my bloods done this morning so tomorrow morning we should know whether it's going to stick around or not!

Glad to hear everything was ok after that once Smile

Thanks for all your replies! The clinic rang back this morning and all is good, I'm pregnant! We've had so many complications with IUI/IVF over the past year so I can't believe that this is happening. My HCG is 256, so have opted for another blood test tomorrow to check it's going in the right direction. I suppose a lot of people who struggle with fertility treatment also feel like this? It's like I'm happy but can't let myself believe it just yet

@BananaHammock23 Congratulations!

That’s a great hcg level. Just popping on to let you know I had spotting everyday until 8 weeks. Currently watching DS sleep on the baby monitor. Congratulations on your pregnancy

@BananaHammock23 oh my gosh!!! Amazing! Congratulations and good luck with your next beta. 🥳

BananaHammock23 · 08/12/2020 21:51

Thanks @pixelflower @IAmSickOfWaiting - I just wish I could believe it!

@Betsyboo87 that's so reassuring, thank you! When did you settle into the idea that you were actually pregnant? I feel like I'll be in disbelief until someone hands me the baby!

Not sure did until he was in my arms! I put off buying anything for a long time. It does get easier though and you can start to relax more.

Congratulations! 🥰
