LH levels - blood tests

Hi all,

Got results of bloods back yesterday and have been referred to a fertility specialist as they point towards possible ovarian failure.

One thing I'm confused about is that my LH is too high - 17.3 in follicular phase (loooong follicular phase, currently CD36, was CD32 day of testing) - but all of my OPKs have been complete blanks. Once I got a very faint line that Premom read as 0.19.

Anyway was just wondering if anyone else had had similar results and maybe already seen a specialist so could shed light on it whilst I wait for my appt.

Stay safe all 🤗

Could you share a screenshot of Premom's tests page?

I'm glad you've been referred to a specialist. I don't think your lh level has been taken at the right time, I'm sure it's supposed to be between cd1-5, so that could have skewed things. Someone might come along to correct me though.
Did you go arrange for any other tests or a scan? If not the fertility specialist will do those.
Best wishes

Hi @VenusStarr thanks for your reply. I think the specialist arranges the scans, and further bloods as necessary, as you say these could well be a little skewed as not taken at the time I see lots of other people talking about.

Hi @AlisonT13 attached are some of the premom app screenshots (I've been doing a lot as you can see, since CD14 actually, but haven't included all. There are a couple that certainly aren't the level it has suggested).

Thank you both for replying ☺️
