Clinics at Christmas.

I'm with ABC and I know they do a deep clean of their labs over Christmas and there's a cut off point for IVF to get collections done in time. Do they open for scans etc on the working days around Christmas?

We cancelled our last FET and I'm cycle day 27 today. Usually have long cycle and thought my day 10 scan will fall around Christmas.

Think I'm being totally unrealistic but would they be open and allow for lining checks on their working days to schedule a transfer in Jan?

Aren't most of ABCs scan, egg collection and transfers being picked up by their sister clinic Create? I was with Create but obviously before covid and they opened for scans the whole time bar 2 days I think. I had a cycle last new year wks had scans and then the collection first week of January

@ivfbeenbusy yes they are done by Create. I'm at Manchester and there they are the same clinic. But i was told when we cancelled our FET a couple of weeks ago that I'd have to miss a month due to lab closure. I'm not actually sure what that looks like though and keen to know in case we can fit in with their schedule!

Just wondered if anyone else knows.
