Has anybody got pregnant taking clomid without a period?

How soon after the last pill did you ovulate? It’s been over a week since mine and I am still getting negative OPK’s.

And if so, how soon after sex did you get a BFP? X

Hi @Rolo08 - I did. I had been taking 50mg Clomid and it wasn’t making me ovulate consistently so I went on to 100mg without a period. The two times I did ovulate, once was about 9 days after the last tablet and the other time was 6 days after the last tablet.
As I wasn’t consistently ovulating and therefore I wasn’t always getting periods, I was just told to take a pregnancy test on CD30 and, so long as it was negative, was allowed to start my next cycle of Clomid.
On the cycle I fell pregnant, I got a positive OPK test so felt fairly confident of when I ovulated, and got my BFP 11DPO. Had an early scan this week and I’m about 7 weeks pregnant now.

I started taking clomid on October 29 for 5 days. my cycle is 26 days and I was ovulating on my own. Dr. prescribed me clomid cuz she said I was ovulating too early and not enough. Now I dont have period. called my dr. she gave me meds to induce my period and did blood work to check if I ovulated. I didn't take the meds yet cuz i am not sure what it will do and the side effects. Did clomid stopped anyone's period here and if it did when did you get your period back without medication. And did anyone get pregnant while not getting your period? I am not sure whets happening to my body. :(

Hi @Rolo08 how long after taking clomid did you ovulate? I’m CD17 now and still not ovulated, but I normally have longer cycles anyway. I’m on my first cycle of clomid 50mg.

Hi @suki2020 so all of my ovulation tests I did after taking clomid were negative. But when I went for my CD21 bloods, it showed I had ovulated so I think it was around CD14 x

Hi @lovelly I just take clomid on it’s own. I also take mine at night because of the side effects.

@Rolo08 oh wow that’s no help for you. I’ve just had my peak on OPK’s on Friday so have now ovulated. Could you feel ovulation?

so doctor track your evaluation every month or no on your period day 3 like every time doctor told u that which day u have to take clomid or u just take random day and thanks for your answere .

@Suki2020 Hi! Just thought I'd jump on - I did 2 cycles of 50 mg and didn't ovulate, then increased to 100mg which worked (x2!) main thing I was going to say though was I definitely felt ovulation, it was almost painful! Very odd for me! X

Hi @Beth804 did you have any side effects from taking the 100mg? I never get ovulation cramps but then I don’t suffer with period cramps either. My boobs are so sensitive after ovulation which I normally get but not this bad.

I took my first cycle of 50mg today. Feeling so excited/nervous! I’m going in for a scan a week tomorrow to check my ovaries.

@Suki2020 ovulation cramps definitely, and my nipples were really sore, but then I went on to conceive first time I took 100mg so could have been that! I took them at night so didn't get too many side effects

@Crazydoglady123 made them perfect! But mine were non existent/crazy long before that. I ovulated day 15/16 xx

@Beth804 I've been on my first (and last!) Clomid cycle (100mg) and had a long 34 day cycle. I ended up in loads of pain around ovulation on the Clomid and took myself for a private scan on CD21 and the clomid had caused me to release 5 eggs resulting in 5 ruptured haemorrhagic cysts, enlarged ovaries and loads of free fluid in my pelvis 😔 I've just come on today but been so hoping that one of the 5 would've taken and being so late has messed with my head on it so much. Clomid is clearly strong stuff but I'm now heading down an IVF route

@Crazydoglady123 Aw, I'm so sorry to hear that, at least they were able to scan so you know what's happening. Just think of it as another step towards your baby, another avenue explored. Focus on the IVF, that will work! 👊🙌 xx

Hi @SC2020 how are you getting on with your first cycle of clomid? Any side effects yet?

@suki2020 I took my last tablet on friday, I have a scan tomorrow to confirm ovulation...fingers crossed!
I didn’t have awful side affects, some waves of nausea & hot flushes at night.
How are you getting on?

@SC2020 oh wow ovulation happened very quickly. I though it was 5-10days after your last pill that ovulation happens. Mine happened 12days after my last pill. That’s good that you didn’t get any bad side effects. I didn’t either just a headache and feeling sick and bloated a few days.

@Suki2020 ah sorry that is what the scan is going to confirm tomorrow if I am about to ovulate. I definitely don’t feel as if I have ovulated yet but we are doing the deed every other day just in case!! I’m on CD 9 now. Such an anxious time but I am trying my best to remain calm & relaxed eeek!

@SC2020 ah ok sorry. Hopefully you will ovulate soon. This is my first cycle to, I’m 11dpo now. Only symptom is really sore boobs but I think that’s the clomid
