Follicle growth during mild IVF

Hi all, I’m currently doing a round of mild IVF Bemfola 150 units. I went for my day 6 scan today and the dr didn’t really tell me too much just that some had started to grow. I heard him say a few were still less than 6mm though, which I don’t think is good. How fast should the follicles be growing? I have another scan on Friday and then another on Mon morning..,

How many days have you been taking stims? I've done mild IVF and it can take a few days for them to really get going - I liked to write down the numbers abs sizes after the scan so I could keep track in my mind what was happening - perhaps on the next scan get them to write it down for you?

Hi @ivfbeenbusy yesterday at the scan I would have had 4 shots and as of right now I’ve had 5, so for my scan tomorrow I will have had 6. Good idea about writing them down, I will ask.

Hi @Sara279 I've completed one round of mild on 150. I had similar feedback on day 6. They seemed happy, said things were going in the right direction, but my left ovary had not responded anywhere near as well. I wasn't too sure what to make of it either. Day 8 scan they were happy enough, day 10 i had one follicle quite large and i was told it might race away before EC, but i had a good bunch of similar size which is what they hope for on EC.

For mild, they're not expecting lots of follicles so you're probably responding in a normal way for day 6. Good luck.
