Anyone in Surrey had IVF? Question on funding

Hi,
For ages I've been looking at moving to Surrey. We've been on the fertility treatment train for a long time now - there literally is never a good time to move. What I'm wondering is how long it takes to get funding agreed for IVF once you get referred? I know there's not waiting list for IVF starting, but its all the paperwork beforehand I'm worried about. I'm 38 in 4 months so time is not on my side.

I'm not in Surrey but it's not the wait for the funding which is the issue - you'd likely get that in around 6-9 months at the moment with covid it's the wait list to actually start treatment. You'd need to check with your specific CCG as many say treatment HAS to start no later than when you are 39 but the wait lists can be up to 2 years
