Cheapest way to get fertility drugs

I’m taking Menopur at the moment & will likely need more. I got it via STORK and now getting it direct from clinic when I run out. I’m quite sure this isn’t the cheapest way but I don’t know so I’m turning to you all! If I got a private prescription would that be cheaper and are certain places cheaper than others?

For my FET drugs I got the price the clinic gave me and then asked a pharmacist friend of mine to price it. There was quite a large difference and I ordered from the local pharmacy. The only drawback was that I had to wait a few days for it to be ordered in.

Thanks @Rd12 are most pharmacies able to obtain the drugs then?

I once heard that Asda Pharmacy offers a good price. I didn’t use them though.

If you find a cheaper place, ask how long it would take for them to get the stock. I imagine you are going to an appointment, finding out how much you need and then getting it from the clinic all in one visit. You might not have time to wait 2-3 days for a pharmacy to get stock

Yes ASDA are brilliant, I've got Clomid and Progesterone from them before and they already had both in stock (but I would always call ahead and check before going in) I believe they don't make a profit on fertility medication and charge everything cost.

The second time I went to a different pharmacy and handed the prescription over. It was ready next day. So it seems like it shouldn't be a problem. I had not called ahead or anything.
