Hi everyone. I have been struggling TTC for a while now and I've just been diagnosed with pcos. No increased testosterone just diagnosis from a scan. I don't want to take medication yet I'd rather try natural remedies and lifestyle changes first. Is there anything that anyone can recommend that helped them? TIA

Re lifestyle changes I would have a look at doing a low GI/GL eating plan; this can be helpful to PCOSers and is quite sustainable to do long term.

Verity's PCOS website is also helpful to read. www.verity-pcos.org.uk

Re "natural remedies", I would advise you to not use these at all as natural does not always mean safe. There is no one treatment that will eradicate PCOS (and the cystic follicles associated with it do disappear, only to be replaced by further cystic follicles) but it can be managed to a certain extent. If you have been ttc for some time now without success, you should really be referred as a couple to a subfertility unit and both of you should be tested further (its little to no point in solely testing you).
