When to start cetrotide on short protocol??

Hi all, this is actually my 3rd round of ivf using short protocol. I am usually told to start cetrotide on day 5 of Stims and to take it in the morning.

I’ve moved to a new clinic in a different country and I am due my next scan on day 6 of Stims. The clinic abroad will probably get the results and get back to me that late afternoon evening. They said to start cetrotide when they tell me to and not before as they want to confirm ive got a follicle more than 12mm before starting it. So it looks like the earliest I will start cetrotide is day 7 of Stims. This seems late to me and I’m very worried. I know I need to trust the clinic but has anyone had it work this way before?

Modified - I've always had to wait for the go ahead to commence cetrotide based on what ever hormone levels they are looking for in the blood tests they did every 2 days - I think they only put you on it once your LH starts to rise as cetrotide prevents early ovulation. Sometimes I've started day 5 of stims other times much later
