Finally had my consultation and they've diagnosed me with PCOS and said I could start treatment with metformin and letrozole?
Would appreciate anyone's experiences taking these?
Currently TTC baby number #1 for 15 months.

I conceived my first on first cycle on letrozole. Before this had been ttc 15 months, then got pg but early mc. After the mc I had one period and conceived on the next cycle. I had suspected pco type ovaries but no clear diagnosis. Good luck!

@Jmommy Thank you for the insight. Did you ovulate before using the drug or not? I don't think I ovulate at all but still have periods but just irregular. They also prescribed me metformin did you take that? X

Well, i think I did ovulate in most cycles, or at least I got positive opks. But I did also have cycles where I didn’t get that inspite of frequent testing. Also the positive opk could come between cycle days 15-22 or so, so some irregularity was there in any case. I did not take metformin, it was never mention by my doctor.

Following this closely! I don't have PCOS but have irregular cycles (but I generally do ovulate each cycle - could be day 65 though!)
Been TTC for 18 months and have taken letrozole this cycle, currently on CD 11 x

Hope it’s okay to follow too. I’ve been prescribed Letrozole 5mg and should be starting it early next week, I have just been diagnosed with PCOS this month after coming off the pill Nov 2019 with no BFP yet

Im on Cycle 1 of letzerole. Had a scan on Wednesday with showed three follicles x2 at 10mm and x1 at 14mm. I have been back this morning and the x2 haven't got bigger but one has gone to 16mm. I've now got to do ovulation tests and revisit the clinic on Tuesday if I don't get a positive. If I get a postive its just to have a blood test 7 days later to check progesterone which will show if I ovulation or not. Then they will decide if my dose needs changing from 2.5mg to 5mg
