Beta reducing but FRER getting darker??

So at 5dp5dt I had BFN but then a VVFL on 9dp5dt. This continued to get darker but never very dark. I was concerned as they didn’t look like my first pregnancy. I paid for a postal Beta blood test and got 291 at 12dp5dt and 252 at 14dp5dt. I’m now 17dp5dt and my lines are still as dark if not a bit darker. What on earth is going on????

In this situation I'd be inclined not to believe the postal blood results. I'd speak to your clinic to have a hcg level taken

Ive had a chemical pregnancy and my Betas came down, then went slightly up, then back down again.

If it was me, i would go to your local EPU where they will monitor you until they are satisfied of the outcome.

Ps, sorry you are going through this, been there lots... its utter shit. X

How many embryos did you have transferred?

@Aprilbaby21 sorry to hear about your loss. The EPU won’t see me without a referral. Everyone is just saying wait until the 10th of November and then you will know, but that seems like a lifetime away and cruel!

Can you request your GP for a referral? Is this IVf? If so your clinic can write you a referral too?
I had my clinic write me a referral due to low hcg and pelvic pain. But I went to A&E and then they referred me to EPU for regular monitoring.

If you aren't experiencing any bleeding then an EPU won't see you on the basis of some potentially misleading postal tests? I hate to say it but it's almost a misuse of NHS resources?
What has your clinic said?
