Hi everyone. I'm due to start taking letrozole (which I believe is an alternative to clomid) tomorrow, CD2.
Has anyone taken it and had any success stories?
We're TTC no.1. I had regular ish cycles but for the last 9 months or so they've been between 27 and 75 days! Thanks

@Knowtygirl thanks so much for your response! Did you have to adjust the dosage from the first month at all? My doctor said if I'm over responsive I will have to wait a month - don't fancy having quads or more!

@roxyfoxy89 hey, I'm 10 weeks pregnant with the help of letrozole (this is my second pregnancy, first I conceived naturally). I conceived with letrozole on my third cycle. First cycle on 2.5mg didn't make me ovulate. So consultant put me up to 5mg and I conceived the second time on that dose. Best of luck xx

I conceived DC1 on my first cycle on letrozole. Before this we’d been without contraception for few years and actively ttc for 15 months. I had suspected mild pco type ovaries, but had been getting positive opks regularly, so not sure what exactly the letrozole did for me - but it worked!

@Rg1987 congratulations! So glad it's worked for you.

@Jmommy your story sounds so similar to mine. Been TTC for 16 months and in the beginning everything was normal, got positive OPKs every month. Then they started getting a little more irregular and the doctors have said although I don't have PCOS I'm showing signs of slightly polycystic ovaries. Hopefully my story ends like yours did!
