Pain in ovaries on Clomid?

Hope someone out there might be able to give me the benefit of their experience!
Long story short, I’ve taken three cycles of Clomid on 50mg and only one of those resulted in ovulation. This cycle I’ve been given 100mg, and I’m on CD 5. I’m experiencing twinges/pain in my ovaries which I remember before but I don’t feel they were as strong as this. They aren’t awful but they are certainly evident.
Has anyone else experience anything similar? I’m paranoid my ovaries are in overdrive and I don’t get any follicle tracking scans so feel a little bit blind with what’s happening!

I had pretty bad ovulation pains on clomid 50mg!

Hi this happened to me when I was in 100mg I ended up at the hospital for tests as I was freaking out. Had scans bloods etc and they thought was a super ovulation. A week later I found out I was pregnant with our baby girl. Good luck!!

I am currently on clomid again TTC baby no 2. 1st round 50mg however started my period I can't get a hold of my consultant to find out my day 21 results and what dose to start this round on??? Hope they phone tomorrow 🤞

Thank you for your replies @cosmo30 and @AMMB - hopefully nothing to worry about then. As I’m still taking the tablets at the moment, I don’t think I would be ovulating yet which usually happens a good few days after the last tablet has been taken. Maybe the pains are just the follicles growing?

Yep l had this with 25mg. I think lm quite sensitive to the drugs as they seem to work well and stay in my system for ages. It took a while for my ovaries to settle down and l ended up with ovarian cysts because of them
