Consent Appointment

For those that have had their consent app could you tell me what to expect? I had my initial consultation at the start of Aug and it was a very high level overview of IVF, and not much different to what I’d read online.

They’ve now said I should hopefully have my consent app in November, and I feel a bit lost. Seems mad to only have 2 appointments before paying up and starting treatment.

Hey, I had mine on 29th September, baseline scan on 5th and started injections on 6th. The consent appointment is basically lots of forms to sign about the process and storing embryos etc. They also checked my BMI. That's literally all we did x

Hi, I had my baseline scan & consultation on the 21st September & my treatment consultation via zoom today. I'll start my meds on the 23rd of this month.

Today we talked more in depth of the doses & the procedure and our consultant answered all of our questions. We've also been assigned more forms to fill in on our online portal. Today's appointment really put me at ease. Good luck & try not to worry :)
