Should I expect copy of test results?

I've recently had recurrent miscarriage tests on the NHS. I've now received a letter saying the results are all clear but I was surprised not to get a copy of the actual results. I wanted to get a second opinion but I can't do that without the results but I didn't know if it would be reasonable to ask for them.

I didn't get a copy of my results - but I did ask for them a couple of years later when I had moved on to IVF and they wanted to see the results for themselves and the miscarriage clinic printed them Off and posted them out within a few days of me asking

I'm just frustrated because I thought I'd asked for the results and what I've got is this slightly crap letter that doesn't even reference all the tests they did. Thank you for replying

You are entitled to a copy of all your medical records including any test results. You will have to request this from your hospital medical records department but they have to give them to you, it is your legal right. Contact your hospital PALS team if you can't find out how to request them and they should help you.

@Narwhal88 thank you. I know in principle I am entitled, i just hoped they would give me the results rather than having to go down a more formal route. My RMC was very much, we did some tests, nothing came up, sorry it's bad luck, go away and take aspirin if you get pregnant again. I'd quite like a second opinion.
