Retroverted Uterus - Any success stories with AI?

Hello ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has had any success doing AI with a retroverted uterus? I've read that perhaps I should be on plenty of cushions to allow my pelvis to be in the right position, but just curious to see if anyone else has had success?

I am also suffering secondary infertility. Anything is worth a shot, right? I'm currently on Cycle 30 (CD4).

I have the same. No success naturally after 2 years. I tried inserting a Soft cup after sex and doing the things you mentioned but I soon got fed up with that. Consultants don’t attribute it to my infertility - well they’ve Not mentioned It as a factor just that we are “unexplained” (classic!) how long did it take to conceive your first if you don’t mind me asking? X

Hey JandL2020, It's super annoying isn't it? I've also tried a cup after sex - no good. I'm now looking to AI with me in a good position so they don't all run for the hills as I'm getting into that position...

I've never had a problem until now, never had to 'try' to fall pregnant. I am in awe at the ladies who have always suffered infertility and it hurts my heart! I am lucky I have children, but now I have a new partner, he so desperately want's to have just one of his own and I can't even do that.. I have a youtube and we did live testing, he got so emotional. :(

How many cycles have you had so far without success? I had a weird cycle last May, another missed miscarriage. I've had two like that now where AF arrives (in her usual glory, heavy!) and then around CD12 I started bleeding like pink watery blood, end up using a pregnancy test ''just in case'' and wallah - a faint positive! They don't progress, I have bloods and it's confirmed it's another missed miscarriage. x

@Sadie406 I stopped counting/tracking as started IVF in August. If you have a new partner and it’s been 30 cycles and you’ve fallen naturally quickly before - I would suggest maybe your partner get tested, as there could be a sperm issue. It could just be bad luck and just take longer. All the best xx
