Hoping for some success stories from ladies who have taken metformin.
A bit of background I have underactive thyroid and repeat miscarriages behind me..my thyroid levels have been good / normal this year and as I haven’t had any positive opks, have noticed some hair growth around chin area and extra weight gain.. my consultant has decided to put me on metformin to see if it can help with the ovulation and weight whilst I try to conceive. We have run lots of tests and everything else has come
Back normal and I have regular periods.
Has anyone been in a similar position and been prescribed metformin to then go on and have a successful pregnancy? I have also been promised Clomid by end of the year.
Any input would be appreciated.
