Bleeding at 6 weeks pregnant after FET

I’ve started having some bright red bleeding this afternoon. No clots or cramping but it’s quite a bit of red blood covering the tissue when I wipe. I’ve phoned the fertility clinic and they said to come in for a scan tomorrow morning and bleeding can happen and be ok, but I’m thinking it’s a miscarriage. Any positive stories from anyone who has had similar?

Ive bled in both of my pregnancies (currently 8+4 with my 2nd) and so far so good.
Its scary to see but doesnt always mean the worst.

@Ned2021 thanks for this. How heavy was your bleeding if you don’t mind me asking? I know all of this isn’t going to change anything but at least talking about it gives me something to do

With my DS, i had 2 massive bleeds.
Both were the same in quantity (1 at 7 weeks and 1 at 13)
Both were enough to fill a pad and i was losing small clots and cramping.

This time, i bled at 5+5 and it filled half a pad so not as much.

With all the bleeds, it lasted a day then went to brown spotting the next day for about 2 weeks.

I had spotting every day from 4.5 weeks to 8 weeks and a couple of times it turned bright red. Mainly just when wiping. Make sure you keep taking your medication, I was ready to stop as I was sure it was over but the clinic fortunately told me not to until they had done a scan. My pregnancy went on to be successful. I had brown blood on and off from 5 weeks after my FET.

He’s asleep upstairs :)

So... bleeding had slowed down by this morning and only a few spots. Went for a scan and sac with baby and heartbeat seen! Can’t believe it! The Dr could see where the bleeding had come from but said there wasn’t a big haematoma and hopefully that would be it, and to carry on as normal 🥳
