Waiting times

Hi Just that that really, since the clinics have reopened post Lockdown..How long have you all been waiting for any news for treatment to restart?

Also, we’re you getting treatment before lockdown struck? Haven’t heard anything from clinic since January and have a known DE keen to help! I’m NHS and finding this whole waiting thing so frustrating ☹️

Hey, it's very frustrating isn't it.
We started appointments back in January, had HyCoSy in Feb but had to go back as my partner socially smoked (so when drinking) and they wanted that to have stopped for three months so had appointment in April.
That got cancelled due to Covid. Then had video appointment mid May where it was literally just to confirm partner isn't smoking and then them put us on waiting list.

Was told they had four month backlog and then six month usual waiting list.
The fertility counsellor checked up on things for us last week also and was told it's gonna be another six/seven months before we are contacted as they are prioritising 40+ at the moment.

Such a long wait so a bit disheartening

Hiya @willithappen I’m so sorry your having this long wait too. Yes very frustrating and everyone seems to be getting pregnant the now which doesn’t help either 🙄

Well I hope the next 6 months flyby for you, it’s rubbish how this COVID has affected everyone & there plans. Good that they have let you know a a rough timescale for you both. I would be thankful of any news right now..every time I email my counsellor I copy in the charge nurse 🤣 but she never gets back to me 🙄
