Clinic test - where did I go wrong?

Hi all,

We have just finished our first FET cycle following a successful fresh cycle in 2018 that resulted in our daughter. Since then, the clinic have changed their tests, and I am clearly the only idiot on the planet who can fail a pregnancy test!

This one you have to pipette the pee onto it rather than dipping, which I did but it was inconclusive. I am testing again tomorrow morning with a cheap stick to confirm the negative, but for next time (if we can afford it) I need to figure out where I went wrong!

Did I pipette too much pee onto it (I did three drops)? Should you leave a gap between each drop? Should I leave it lying flat until three minutes is up?

If anyone can help me avoid looking like an eejit next time I'd be very grateful.

Well now apparently I can't even upload sodding photos on here any more, so I must be beyond hope. Please ignore!

Off to drink some much needed wine now...

I hate those pipette ones. You may have needed a bit more pee and then to slightly tip it downwards so it helps it draw up the internal strip. But I have had ones which are just faulty before!

At least it's not just me! The dye all pooled round the T area if you get what I mean and didn't go near the control line. So I got like a pink evaporation test line and no control line.
