Has anyone in their late 30s got the tests offered by these people in Greece (hidden c and Ureaplasma etc.) and ended up getting pregnant naturally after taking antibiotics?

Hi Kermit7,
I know this thread is old now but did you do the tests? I had an amazing consultation with a dr from that clinic and really felt like I was talking to an expert. I’ve just ordered mine, more money than I ever like to spend but would be interested to know if you found them useful?

Hi @JessTTC, wondering if you'll get this. I've just had my results, wondering how you got on?

JessTTC · 30/05/2021 07:04

Hi @Zee884!
I had quite a few different ones done - I can’t remember the names of them now! The things that showed up was an overgrowth of one of the healthy bacteria’s in the vaginsl flora test so I had a round of antibiotics before the next FET and then took vaginal probiotics. The most important thing they found was that I had high NK cells so had a course of steroid treatment along side FET. I’m very happy to say that I am now pregnant for the first time in my life (with twins!!! Send help!!) and for me, those tests were fundamental in that happening.
How did yours go??

@JessTTC wow!!! That's such amazing news!
I've done the menstrual blood tesy (Hidden C), and it's tested positive for a few things like ureaplasma. Were you able to get your antibiotic prescription through the GP or privately?
Starting our first IVF round in about two weeks and really would like it cleared up by then. Grateful to have found it, but worrried now! Thanks so much for replying!

@JessTTC sorry forgot to ask, do you remember the name of the probiotic? Thanks again!

@Zee884 i was really lucky, my GP is amazing and was really supportive - they prescribed the (very strong!) antibiotics and the steroids, I took her everything Locus sent me and the suggested prescriptions and she did that. There was no vaginal probiotic suppository she could find or knew of so I bought those privately - I think they’re called Raw probiotics, about £30 and I ordered on Amazon, the main ingredient had to be lactobacillus or something similar sounding so my GP agreed these would be fine. My consultant at my clinic was also really supportive which really helped - but when she went on maternity leave after the transfer I realised if I’d had any other consultant there that would not of been the case!
I hope that’s helpful and your experience can be as positive as mine! Xxx

I've attached a list of vaginal probiotics recommended after my EMMA ALICE.

I also take femdophilus which is an oral probiotics that has clinical studies behind it for improving the reproductive tract flora.

The tests you guys have had sound really interesting. I was found to have 0.00% lactobacillus on an EMMA test from a endometrial biopsy. I'm having a FET now right after finishing treatment. I hope it finally works.

I know this is a old thread but just out of curiosity what medication was you given? I have found out I have ureaplasma and mu gp refuses to offer anymore than a weeks doxycycline!
