Uterine polyps??

Just wondering if anyone has had uterine polyps diagnosed and what the treatment was or if you continued on with other treatment/IVF? I had my HyCoSy today and everything was fine except 2 polyps quite low down in the uterus. We have probable MFI as a cause of not conceiving And are planning IVF but now I’m wondering if this could be a reason!?

If polyps are found you are usually referred to Gynaecology to have them removed, regardless of whether you are TTC or not. They can affect implantation so are best removed before IVF. Your IVF clinic might be able to arrange the procedure, or you may need separate NHS/private Gynaecology referral. Good luck xx

I had a small polyp that came
Up on a scan when undergoing fertility investigations. We also had MFI. I had a hysteroscopy before IVF to have it removed as like the previous poster said, I was told it could be in the way of implantation.

ah okay, thanks, I thought that might be the case! @BabySweet85 did you have the hysteroscopy on the NHS or privately? Just wondering how long it might be to wait for it on the NHS.
