Have been recommended embryolab in thessaloniki Greece but wondering if Czech Republic is cheaper (and as recommended?)? Thank you

Interested in this too - just been pricing it all up for Prague and it works out half the price of the same treatment in the UK even with flights and accommodation

Hey there, I'd be super grateful to hear your costs. For Embryolab, for our specific situation - 2 egg collection cycles and FET (they do that rather than a package of 3), we've been quoted 4500 euros, excluding medication (for mild IVF she quoted 500-800 euros, though again, checking if this is for 1 or 2 cycles) and initial consultation with associated tests. Scans and bloods during treatment if done in the UK would be at UK cost, but if you spend your full treatment cycle there, they're included. I'm happy to share what I learn when I follow up if you'd be kind enough to share what you've learned? FLexi flights to Thessaloniki this winter for 3 of us (my toddler included) look to be approx £500 in total and our contact quoted around 65 euros a night for accommodation, suggesting we'd need to be there 15 - 20 days (though again I need to check this time as I think that might be the full treatment duration and if you were to do some of the earlier bits here, then obviously the amount of accommodation you'd need would be less).

@Ellsiedodah sure - I just did some rough calculations and this is not based on having spoken to anyone yet. This is one IVF with ICSI cycle based on the cost of meds in the UK and one scan in UK plus optional freezing.

Prague
Accom 1000 - 15 days
Food etc 1000
Flights 150 plus parking at airport
IVF 2000
Scan in UK 350
Meds 1000
Freezing 350
Insurance 100

@Ellsiedodah so basically Prague looks like £6k versus £8k for the same in the UK which is what I have been quoted by my clinic. I've not checked these costs with anyone who has actually done it though!

Ha! I'd forgotten about food !! Is that flights for 2 people? Seems very low... but I know it's a much shorter flight. What clinic was that with or where are you getting that estimate from?

@Ellsiedodah I just looked at a couple of Prague clinics online price lists and took a best educated guess. The flights to Prague are so cheap right now! It was about £25 per person per flight plus bags on top.
