Hi everyone

I'm currently waiting for ET next week and am not feeling too great.

Does anyone have any advice on what products are ok to use after ET? I was hoping to use the dove moisturiser with tan in to give myself a bit of TLC but am really not sure what is ok to use.

I know that for ET the clinic says no perfumes or strong products but not sure what anyone did after.

Sorry if this comes across a bit "vain" but it's purely to make myself feel better. Have read lots about fake tan being ok during pregnancy as it isn't absorbed into your body - but just looking for a bit of a pick me up ( as I cannot reach for the gin!)

Thanks

Hi, there is nothing wrong with wanting to treat yourself to cheer yourself up! It's not vain at all! The only things you can't use after egg transfer are products that are contradicted in pregnancy and the only ones in that category are Vitamin A products most commonly known as Retinols. Avoid those and you should be fine.
Some say Salycilic acid shouldn't be used but I've seen dermatologist say that isn't true as long as its topical and under 2%.

Now, go and treat yourself and don't feel guilty! We put ourselves through so much during this process, you deserve it!

And best of luck for the ET
