Prolactin levels - Help!

Hi,
So I’ve just had my prolactin levels back and it’s 445 mU/l

This seems really high?! Can anybody advise that’s been through this or had these kinds of results before?

@Bobblehatwobble that's actually not far off normal range (I can't remember precisely but normal is up to 440ish). It can appear raised due to the stress of having a blood test/rushing about to get to the appointment but that level certainly isn't cause for concern. Mine on the other hand was about 1500 at one point...

Thank you for reply! I’m having a couple of issues with my cycles at the moment whilst waiting for my IVF cycle and I feel like I’m going mad!

@Bobblehatwobble mine is similar to yours and they said it was borderline raised. Said could just been down to stress but nothing to worry about! X

@Bobblehatwobble before ivf, mine came back at 800. I started going for massages and just relaxing in general, and it came back down again. Although the doctors at the fertility clinic didn’t think it would affect my fertility.
