Hey

I've had a frozen transfer which sadly ended in a miscarriage would of been a missed miscarriage an ERPC anyways.. I've had my follow up with my consultant an he's suggest natural frozen transfer with trigger shot.. with no other medication, not even if successful, my progesterone a few months back was 57.5.. I'm so worried as this was a medicated cycle..
An feel a little lonely going through ivf again.. so thought I'd started a post.. not only for some advice but also to help each other.. doesn't have to be natural cycle x

I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I’ve just started medication for my second round of IVF after failed fresh transfer last time. Aiming for FET early Sept. I get it can feel lonely, no one close to us really knows what we’re going through and the impact it has.

Maybe give the clinic a call to talk through your concerns and their reasoning for suggesting this this time. Initially my clinic suggest a non-medicated round but after chatting with the nurse about the options we decided to go medicated. Wishing you lots of louche 😊

Yes that's why I decided to do medicated last time as I felt a bit more at ease but he's saying natural would be better..

I told people last time an then had to tell them this didn't work.. so I'm not going to say anything this time.. I should go on my next period which is 2-4 weeks time.. so be the same time around you

Oh really! Well nice to be talking to you again. I came off the boards for a bit after BFN, to digest things. Had to wait one period before starting again and I am not liking the meds at all, feel they’re worse than the injections!

Definitely double check with them why they feel it would be better. There must be a reason. We could’ve gone natural but the nurse said that would rely on my body doing everything it should whereas medicated takes away some of those uncertainties.

Yes maybe. It is nice to be talking to people who know how it feels. We’ve told the next to nobody, only my mum and manager.

Hey sorry for long reply I came off but now starting again I need some buddies. Hubby's bless them don't really get it do they..

He said cause my ovarian progesterone is high I can have a natural cycle. Hubby thinks this is a good idea cause we're not pumping medication Into me. I'm just worried about the pressies in the 2WW.. an obvs after so the nurse said she will forward on to the doctor..
