Hi everyone don’t know where else to post this, I’ve been off my birth control since September my periods were ok until January and they started going up the walls where I’d go from like 2-3 months without it and I suffer from cervical erosions which cause bleeding. I went for a ultra sound yday which said everything was ok and my blood work has came back fine but still have missing periods I’m worried that I’ll struggle to conceive and this is causing me to worry as me and my partner have just bought our first house, has anyone experienced this before. I have noticed I have gained a stone in a half but I’ve been setting goals to get back to my normal BMI weight, I've also noticed with the bleeding it's like ovulation discharge mixed with the Brown discharge it's just really upsetting me at this point of the not knowing what's wrong with my body

Hi OP. It sounds like you've had a lot going on and stress can affect our cycles, so maybe that could be part of the problem? I can't really offer any other insight I'm afraid, but didn't want to read and run. I also suffer from cervical erosions (my smear test last week resulted in some pretty heavy bleeding) which I believe is from being on the pill for so many years. I mentioned to the nurse about TTC and she commented on the erosion/s but didn't say I needed to be careful or that it would give me any difficulties - but now I wonder whether I should have specifically asked! Which bloods did you have done? X

I know that the cervical erosions are quite normal in women and some people don't notice they have them, I got a full blood panel done that looked at my thyroid hormone levels but still no periods getting frustrating now even though my partner isn't too worried I just can't help worry about infertility I know there is medication there to help bring on ovulation/periods

Did you have your AMH and FSH checked? Maybe these would give you some comfort. Yes, clomid can be given to help ovulation and there is another to bring on a bleed but I can't remember what it's called! Perhaps you could go back to your GP and push them for a referral because if your bloods were normal but your cycle is up the wall, it might be worth having some further investigations. Not ideal but it might help to feel like you are doing something. X
