TTC 1st baby- clomid & metformin

Hi,
I'm 24 and been ttc for the last 2 and a half years. I have PCOS and endometriosis with very irregular periods and I don't think I ovulate. My husband had low morphology of 1% in April 2019 and we are currently awaiting the most recent test results. I've just finished my first round of Provera to induce my period and then I will be starting my first round of clomid 100mg cd 2-6. I'm also on 1500mg metformin so I'm hoping this will finally work!
Is anyone else in the same position or in the middle of there clomid journey? I'm so excited but nervous!

I conceived my DS on 100mg clomid on cd2-6 and 1500mg metformin daily in 2017. Good luck!

Hi i hope you dont mind me joining. Im 24 too! Just got a positive pregnancy test this morning on 100mg clomid and 2000mg metformin. Currently away on holiday and hoping to retest once i get home tomorrow. (so anxious that its a false positive)

@YouBoggleMyMind did you continue metformin during the pregnancy. and and what dose?

I finished the prescription I had and then stopped, it wasn't that far into my pregnancy. I do know others that have stopped after the first trimester though.

@YouBoggleMyMind thanks. will ring the gp once i get bacj. Most likely will continue through first trimester.

@Bec18x cycle 2. 50mg did nothing for me. Best to take it just before bed, that helped alot for me, in terms of side effects.

Finally got my period and now on cycle day 2 and it's horrific! Starting my first cycle of clomid 100mg tonight 🤞🏻

I've finished my first round of clomid. What cycle day should I start using opk?

@Bec18x I started testing from day 12 onwards. got a positive around cd18

Good evening how has things gone for you all? I was diagnosed with pcos after a visit to a Fertility clinic. I had long cycles between 36-40 days usually. Prescribed metformin in January and have been taking it twice a day. They told me in the clinic previously opks would not have worked when my cycles were so long as I probably not ovulating
So after almost 2 months on metformin, I'm on day 19 of my cycle. I took ovulation test today and it was positive. Could this be accurate, does metformn work this fast? Any thoughts. Thanks
