I had my scan this morning. All is fine except they have now noticed I have OHSS which is quite concerning having it while being pregnant.

@HT2101 I'm so sorry, IVF is so cruel and unfair sometimes. I hope you can have a productive conversation with your clinic when you're ready so you can figure out next steps.

Great news that everything looking ok on your scan @BabySweet85 but how annoying about ohss - what have they advised?

@elleceedee they haven’t advised anything. Just said ovarian torsion can happen and if it does I will k ow about it because the pain will send me to a and e. They said 4-6 to settle because the hcg is stimulating them even more.

@BabySweet85 I'm doing ok thanks, just plodding along and trying to banish the anxious feelings when they appear. My symptoms come and go which causes me a lot of stress! I'm going to book a private scan for next week or the week after I think just to put my mind at rest and hopefully my husband will be able to come along as well.

I've never heard of ovarian torsion before! I really hope it all settles down for you soon. There's a thread in the pregnancy section (think it's called BFP through IVF or something like that) that a few of us from this thread are on - join us!

@elleceedee oh thanks I will try and find the other thread! Ovarian torsion sounds awful on google but hopefully very unlikely to happen. I would go for the private scan - they do allow partners so I am going to book one and get the NIPT test too x
