Recurrent loss advice

Hi everyone!

I just need a bit of advice on what to do next on experiencing issues trying to conceive.

Back story:
Myself and my husband are trying for our first child. I had a loss at 4.5 weeks November 2019 which was unplanned. Started trying officially in Feb 2020. Since then we have had two losses both before 6 weeks.

I was so disheartened by my experience with the first time round from my gp. As I was so early all I was told is to take another test 7 day’s after the bleeding stops to make sure it’s negative. No empathy or support. It was the quickest phone call I have received from my gp. So that’s exactly what I did and sure enough it was negative.

The second time, I took a home test which was negative and then a week later still no AF but a faint positive test at this point. The day after I started bleeding. I did not contact my gp but took a test a week later which was negative.

This time, I took 4 tests over the course of a week which showed progression. I did not contact my gp as I was too nervous to with my history and wanted to wait another week or so. Sure enough just before the 6 week mark I started bleeding heavily again. My local epu said that they cannot see me as I was under the 6 week mark but to contact my gp and be persistent.

I do not know what to do at this point as we haven’t really been trying for that long and I haven’t contacted my gp in regards to my last two losses.

Any advice appreciated? TIA x

@Smp321 sorry you are going through this. As you have had 3 losses (early ones still count) you can go to your GP and ask to be referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. Do be persistent.
