Cyclogest progesterone pessaries

Hi

Does anyone take cyclogest for low progesterone in the luteal phase? Just wondered what cycle day you start to take them and what dosage?

I have been prescribed the 400mg packs of 15 pessaries. My doctor said to start them from a few days after ovulation. I thought she said once a day but I've just seen the pack says twice a day, although it looks like it is referring to use in IVF (eg says start on egg collection day). This is currently a natural cycle for us just with added progesterone.

I will call the clinic on Monday to check, just wondering about normal timing and dosing for this.

Thanks

I'm using them this cycle as I've had recurrent miscarriages and my consultant feels it could be a progesterone issue as all my other tests are normal.

I started yesterday 7 days after my positive opk, 200mg x2, then I'll test 14 days after my positive opk. If I'm pregnant I'll up to 400mg x 2, if I'm not ill stop and my period should arrive.

Good luck.

Hi, I was prescribed 400mg per day as well, I was advised to take it rectally in the evening starting a day after ovulation.

I've now clarified for me it's supposed to be twice a day 400mg each time from dpo. Seems it slightly varies
